Software documentation is increasingly taking on more importance because of the growing global demand for software use in our daily lives. For users , software documentation helps to effectively set up and use the software, troubleshoot problems by themselves and make them satisfied when using the software. How can the user of software get things done today? Could gamification be the answer?

Takeaways

Many industry use gamification as a strategy to influence the behavior of their beneficiaries. The integration of design elements from games into software documentation can be promising to promote the learning in this field.

Biography

My academic background includes a Bachelor degree in „English and German for Business and Tourism“ and a Master degree in „Cultural Management“. Beside my mother tongue Italian, I speak fluently German, French, English as well as Portuguese at a conversational level. After several years´ experience in international direct sales in the automotive industry, I decided at first to attend a Continuing Education Program in “Media Communication and Technical Editing”. With the TCLoc master’s degree I am willing to develop my career into this field.
