First Day: Expert Presentations, Meetup and Networking Dinner

The conference started with a welcome by tekom Bulgaria and tcworld, followed by the interesting keynote “Oh the Humanity! Looking at the Future of Video in Technical Communication” by Anton Bollen. He addressed the increasing demand for videos in technical documentation and the challenges for technical communication teams to meet this demand. Bollen emphasized that AI technologies are promising, but it is important to develop a sustainable video strategy that takes both human and machine aspects into account.
After a short coffee break, the event continued with many interesting presentations on topics such as GenAI, ChatGPT, and Cloud-Native Docs. 
There was good feedback on the presentation by Paula Stern, who spoke about collaboration between SMEs and technical authors and how this can be improved in order to create effective documentation. 
The team and many attendees rounded off the first day with a networking dinner. The cozy, traditional atmosphere in a Bulgarian restaurant was an invitation to exchange ideas.
 

Second Day: Workshops and Presentations

On the second day, after 2 presentations and a workshop on Docs as Code and Visual Design, the participants learned a lot of new things for their everyday work. Above all, the division into different work steps made it easy to follow the work instructions and achieve the work result. The conference ended with a round of feedback and a raffle.
