Feature-driven Development and what it means for Technical Communication

In this talk, you’ll learn how to support feature-driven development in a content management system.

For development teams, feature-driven development means that they implement a continuous delivery approach, deploying features as they are developed and toggling the features on and off. For technical communication, it means that we need to mimic these processes in our own processes, ensuring stable and shippable versions of the documentation. See examples of how we use profiling values to correspond to feature toggles. Learn how we automated two key steps in the process: the creation of profiling values in the content management system and the evaluation of feature toggles and their corresponding profiling values during the build process.
