Laura Bellamy

Laura Bellamy is the Director of Information Experience at VMware, Inc and manages a global team of writers, editors, and architects. Laura has 15 years of industry experience as a technical writer and information architect. She has worked extensively in XML authoring technologies, is a co-author of the book DITA Best Practices, and a technical writing instructor University of California Santa Cruz Extension.

Priscilla Buckley

Based in the south of France, Priscilla Buckley is a Knowledge Architect at SAP. She came to SAP through its 2008 acquisition of Business Objects, whose documentation moved to DITA in 2006. Since 2011, her main focus has been the implementation and adoption of DITA in a cutting-edge CMS environment.

Michael Fritz

Michael Fritz holds a PhD in media sciences and a degree in business administration and specializes in marketing. He worked for several associations, e.g. as head of an institute for lifelong learning. Since 1996 he is Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Gesellschaft für Technische Kommunikation – tekom Deutschland e.V. and since 2013 also CEO of Europe’s largest association for technical communication – tekom Europe. He is also CEO of tcworld GmbH, a company providing services for tekom / tekom Europe.

Tsvetelina Ilieva

Tsvetelina Ilieva is a Lead Technical Writer at Software AG. She started in Technical Writing about eight years ago. She has worked on various projects that involved creating and updating documentation for enterprise integration software. She recently received her MA in Technical Communication from Sheffield Hallam University, UK. When asked what drew her to technical writing, she believes it was the adventure of learning about new technology and the challenge of using words to show people how to do things. After hours, she enjoys the fantasy worlds of reading fiction or playing video games.

Vanya Kiritzova

Vanya Kiritzova is a Senior Information Experience Manager at VMware, leading a global team of writers in Bulgaria and India. She has 8 years of experience managing technical writers, building teams, fostering new ideas and innovation. She is one of the founders of the first ETC conference in 2010. 

Angel Lafchiev

Angel, Knowledge Manager at SAP Labs Bulgaria, started work as a technical writer back in 1999 in a local start-up company that was later on acquired by SAP. His main focus areas are in technology platform development and recently in SAP HANA Cloud Platform and other innovative cloud solutions. Angel leads a team providing cutting edge user assistance for SAP’s products.

Sarah O'Keefe

Sarah O´Keefe, Founder and President of Scriptorium Publishing, USA, is a content strategy consultant whose focus is using technical content to solve business problems, especially how new technologies can streamline publishing workflows to achieve strategic goals. Her latest book is Content Strategy 101: Transform Technical Content into a Business Asset.

Kai Weber

Kai Weber gets a kick out of technical communication that makes users excel and look good. He’s Lead Technical Writer for SimCorp in Frankfurt and Copenhagen. For more than 20 years, he’s been writing, editing and translating software documentation. He went full-time in 1999 and has focused on financial and banking systems since 2001. Kai is a documentation strategist who’s implemented topic-based authoring and structured information models. He enjoys coaching and training writers in topic-based authoring, single sourcing and structured writing.
